Sammy loved Halloween, in this her first year of full participation! She liked getting dressed up, walking in the neighborhood parade, the hayride, and trick or treating. We loaded her up with sugar and she slept until 7 on fall back night!

Finally got around to making a trip to the New Orleans Zoo. It was pretty nice, though particularly stinky in the elephant and giraffe areas. Check out Sammy and Jeff visiting some relatives in the first pic below!

Another Little Lady

We went to a special *extra* ultrasound this week performed gratis by one of our friends from the neighborhood. Sam watched the screen and found out she’s going to have a little sister! After her nap that afternoon, she said “Mommy, you have my sister in your belly!” So she seems excited for now and is maybe starting to understand everything - especially since my belly has gotten considerably bigger.

Jeff came in late last night! I’ve reviewed the video footage, and there wasn’t really anything good to show. Sam was clinging to me at first, but as you can see from pictures this morning, that didn’t last long. Now she is ALL ABOUT DADDY!

Summertime is officially here and Sammy and I have been regulars at the eFitness gym. They have plenty of chairs, tons o’ kids, big pools, little pools, and beer on tap. And while I work out a few days a week, the girls at the kids center take the youngins to the pool. We are really going to miss the gym when we move.
